Yes, the stealth cheat makes NPCs unable to detect you. Police will also not pursue you while the cheat is active.
Does stealth mode cancel my wanted level?
Stealth prevents new wanted levels from triggering, but it does not remove existing stars. Use the lower wanted level cheat alongside stealth for full effect.
Can NPCs still bump into me while invisible?
Yes, your character still has a physical presence. NPCs may react to collisions even though they cannot see you. Vehicles can still hit you as well.
